DAVID N. ANDERSON, 51, died of a heart attack
on Aug. 25, 1990. He graduated from Ranger High
School in 1957 at Ranger, TX. David was born
in Ranger on May 26, 1939 to Aaron and Annie
McGraw (RHS-1937) Anderson. He married Oveda
Brown (RHS-1958). His brother was Jerry Anderson
(RHS-1960).
SON: JERRY DON ANDERSON went to be with the
Lord on Sept. 23, 2022 in Richardson, TX, with
burial in Evergreen Cemetery at Ranger, TX.
Jerry was born to David and Oveda Anderson on
Jan. 18, 1960 in Ranger. He loved his family
and had a unique sense of humor that you had to
know him to understand. Jerry worked in the oil
field, both on rigs and driving trucks most of
his life. When his health failed he enjoyed buying
and selling on Ebay. Jerry met and married the
love of his life, Mary in Dallas TX. They were
married in April of 1997 and shared 25 years
together. He loved his family and he especially
loved his dogs who he referred to as his “kids”.
He never liked to be away from them for any length
of time.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents
Aaron and Anna Lou Anderson of Aspermont, TX. Lester
& Marie Brown of Cisco and his Father, David Anderson
of Abilene, TX. Jerry loved his Mother, Oveda Ann
Anderson and when she passed at 7:05AM on Sept. 23,
2022 he could not bear to see her leave without him
and joined her later that night in Heaven.
He is survived by his wife Mary of Garland, his three
“kids”, girls, Gracie and Zozee and one boy, Peanut.
Two brothers, David and wife Jomi of Abilene, Daniel
& Fiancée Tyla of Abilene and one sister Traci Leanne
of San Angelo.
