OVEDA ANN BROWN ANDERSON, 82, went to be with
Jesus on Sept. 23, 2022 surrounded by loved ones,
with burial in Evergreen Cemetery at Ranger, TX.
Oveda Ann was born to Lester and Marie Brown on
March 9, 1940 in Ranger. Oveda Ann was part of
a large family consisting of six brothers and five
sisters. Her Dad nicknamed her Skeeter. She loved
her family and enjoyed being a founding member of
the Twisted Sister?s later in life. She traveled
and enjoyed good times with her sisters, nieces
and sister-in-law.
Oveda Ann was a graduate of Ranger High School in
the Class of 1958 where she met the love of her
life David N. Anderson (RHS-1957). They were married
almost immediately after graduating from high school.
Graduating from Cosmetology school she was a beautician.
Together the raised 4 children, David (Rocky), Jerry
Don, Daniel and Traci LeAnne. They spent a lifetime
loving and raising their children in and around the
Abilene area.
Tragically she lost her husband David at the young
age of 51 after 33 years of marriage. She continued
to be devoted to her children and grandchildren the
rest of her life. She loved spending time with all of
her grandkids. She later married David Lee and they
shared 26 years together.
She is survived by two sons, David and wife Jomi of
Abilene; Daniel and Fiancee Tyla of Abilene; one
daughter, Traci LeAnne of San Angelo; two brothers,
Doug and wife Margaret of Mineral Wells and Lester
David (Shorty) and wife Cindy of Atmore Alabama, two
sisters, Gayle of Breckenridge and Debra and Husband
Ron of Haslet TX. She was joined in Heaven later on
the same day she passed by her son Jerry Don Anderson;
wife Mary of Garland.
She was blessed to be survived by six grandchildren,
ten great-grandchildren & one great-great-granddaughter.
