DESMA MEDORIA EAKIN WADSWORTH, 52, was born
in Ranger, TX, Aug. 10, 1939, to Anolia E. Johnson &
Carl F. Eakin, Sr. She was in the Ranger High School
Class of 1957. She married Delmo Wadsworth & they lived
in Ranger, Breckenridge & Odessa. They had two daughters,
both born in Ranger, Laura Denise & Del'Ynda. Both had
early schooling in Ranger and Denise would have been in
the RHS-1977 had she completed her schooling there. Both
finished their schooling in Odessa. Desma completed
Ranger Jr. College and later assisted her husband in his
business, Odessa Compressor Services. Desma died in
Oct. of 1991, at M.D. Anderson at Houston and is buried
at Colony Cemetery alongside her father. Delmo Wadsworth
is also deceased. He died in June of 1994 and his ashes
were spread in Monahans, TX, in the Sandhills and with
his wife in Colony. Delmo was from Monahans and was a
graduate of Texas Western College (UTEP).
Desma was the lone daughter in a family with six sons.
Her brothers were Carl F. Eakin, Jr. (RHS-1938) of Yoakum,
TX, James Voncile Eakin (RHS-1941, Bobby Ray Eakin (RHS-
1945), Billy J. Eakin (RHS-1948) of Reno, NV, John F. Eakin,
& Hugh Alexander Eakin (RHS-1961) of San Francisco, CA.
