Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1933

R.V. Robinson R.V. ROBINSON, 89, of Ranger, TX passed away on Jan. 11, 2005, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery at Ranger. Mr. Robinson was born on Sept. 8, 1915 in Gorman, TX to J.M. (Matt) & Docia (Patterson) Robinson. He attended and graduated from Ranger High School. He served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army from 1945-1946. He married Doris Mitchell (RHS-1929) in April of 1938 in Ranger. They were married 50 years, and she passed away in 1989. He then married Zoma Edmonds in 1991; she preceded him in death in 2004. He was also preceded by his son Robby Robinson (RHS-1965) & a sister Genova Aishman (RHS-1931). He was the owner & butcher of Robinson's Food Market in Ranger from 1953-1961. He also managed the JRB Grocery & Market in Ranger & Eastland. Ranching was also a part of his life. He was an active member of First Baptist Church in Ranger. At the time of his death, he was survived by a daughter & her husband Ann (RHS-1958) & Fred Cross of Snyder, son Jim Robinson (RHS-1961) of Fort Worth, step-son Kyge Edmonds & wife Shelia of Garland, step-daughter Edwena Fitzgerald of Longview, and many grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
