ROBERT VAUGHN "ROBBY" ROBINSON, age 42 of Eastland,
TX, died June 17, 1990 in a Fort Worth hospital, with
burial was at Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger, TX.
He was born May 23, 1948 in Ranger to Doris Lucille
Mitchell (RHS-1929) & R.V. Robinson (RHS-1933). He
graduated from Ranger High School in 1965. Robby
attended Ranger Jr. College & graduated from Texas
Tech University with a bachelors and master degree
in Zoology.
For the past 19 years he has been employed with Cisco
Junior College as an instructor of Biology. He is also
know as the "Adoptive Parent" for the Lady Wrangler
Basketball Team. He was a member of the Texas Jr. College
Teacher Association, board member of Eastland, County
Child Protection Services, past president of Eastland
County Tech Alumni. He was a member of the First Baptist
Church in Eastland where he taught college and career
Sunday School classes. Also a rancher and lover of all
sports.
At the time of his death, he was survived by his wife,
Debora Robinson of Eastland; one daughter, Jordan of
Eastland; his father, R.V. Robinson of Ranger; one
brother, Jim Robinson (RHS-1961) of Desdemona; and
one sister, Ann Robinson Cross (RHS-1958) of Snyder.
