MARGARET JACOBY CAMPBELL, 89, of Odessa, TX, passed
away July 27, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her
loving family, with burial in Sunset Memorial Garden
Adoration Section at Odessa.
She was born July 10, 1926 in Ranger, TX to Walter &
Nannie Hubbard Jacoby. She attended Ranger High School
in the Class of 1944. She was a Christian & a Homemaker.
Margaret was a wonderful wife to her husband John Campbell
and beloved by all her children, grandchildren, & great-
grandchildren. She loved her family unconditionally. She
followed her husband John, all over Texas while he worked
in the road construction business until they settled at
Odessa in 1956. She loved sports (could always count on
her to tell you who was going to win), crosswords, reading,
and quilting with which she shared with the family in the
form of their own handmade quilts for each and every one
of them. Her siblings were LeRoy Jacoby (RHS-1941),
Harold Jacoby (RHS-1947), Katy Jacoby Boston (RHS-1948),
Otis Ray Jacoby (RHS-1956), Dorothy Jacoby Wright (RHS-
1959), Dillard Jacoby (RHS-1963), Walter Lee Jacoby,
Betty Jacoby Cannon, Raymond Jacoby, and Bobby Jean
Jacoby.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of
62 years; son, Mickey Ray Campbell; great-granddaughter,
Charlotte Elizabeth Campbell; 4 brothers; & 1 sister.
Survived by 3 sons and 3 daughters, Carolyn and Arthur
Davis, John and Maudie Campbell, Fay Dunn, Carl and Val
Campbell, Richard and Anita Campbell, Betty & Bob Harrold;
14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, with 2 more on
the way; 2 brothers, Harold Jacoby (RHS-1947); & 2 sisters.
