JOHNIE RUTH EAVES LYON, 57, was born in Ranger, TX to
Ada Mae Frost & J.H. Eaves on Oct. 3, 1928 and died
on April 23, 1986, at Arlington, TX. She was in the
Ranger High School Class of 1945. Johnie Ruth was
married to Gene Arnold Lyon (RHS-1944) from Dec. of
1945 until her death. They had two daughters, Paula
Roberts of Braintree, MA & Marilyn Jordan of Littleton,
CO, and one son Jack who preceded her in death.
Johnie Ruth was the youngest of the seven Eaves children.
Her siblings (all deceased) were Olive Eaves, Troy Eaves,
Audrey Eaves Weekes (RHS-1937), Geneva Eaves Guess
(RHS-1936), Laura Mae Eaves (RHS-1935), & Hazel Eaves
Kitley (RHS-1931).
John Henry Eaves was a letter-carrier with the Ranger
Post Office and died at Ranger in 1954. Her mother,
Ada Mae Frost, died in 1975. Their daughter, Laura
Mae Eaves was living in Ranger when she died in 1991.
