FRANKLIN PHILLIP KRIBBS was in the Ranger High School Class of
1938, but left high school in 1936 to work in Oil Patch in Ranger,
TX. He later learned to weld & worked as a welder in the Texas ship
yards in Beaumont during WWII. Phillip married Carolyn Armstrong
of Olden in 1938. They had 3 children; Phyllis Ann Kribbs Duke,
Franklin Eugene "Genie" Kribbs, and Sandra Kay Kribbs Stephens.
In 1965, he married Louise C. Newman Pitchford (RHS-1938) & they
moved to Breckenridge, TX around 1975. His brother, Eugene Edd
Kribbs was in the Class of 1936. Phillip was born in April of 1917
and died while living in Breckenridge on August 1, 1984. He is
buried at Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger. Louise was born in 1920,
and died Jan. 6 1994 in Breckenridge and is buried in Gordon, TX.
